Meet Emily
A lifelong passion for helping others and giving back to the community has always been a driving force in my education and career choices. My higher education journey began at Queen’s University, where I earned an Undergraduate Degree in Global Development Studies and developed a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives and global dynamics.
After graduating from Queen's, I worked in the field of childcare, honing essential skills in compassion, empathy, and effective communication. During this time, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact of divorce on individuals and families, inspiring me to explore the field of mediation.

I obtained certification in both civil and family mediation, followed by an internship program, earning designation as a Qualified Mediator. Further, I am an active member of professional associations ADRIO and FDRIO.

I approach mediation from an inclusive, trauma-informed perspective, ensuring that every individual feels heard and respected. As such, I am particularly passionate about working with members of the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities.
